  1. Very interesting how you summarized this part of the reading, besides I really liked the way you designed it, maybe you could teach me a little how to use that tool?

Now I have a question for you. As it is stated, alternative assessment recognizes the connection between the cognitive, the affective and the conative abilities. Taking that, I also take the fact that when students know they are being evaluated or assessed, there is presented an affective factor which can affect greatly the performance of the students. In the search for disminishing the anxiety students my have, how do you think we could work on different conditions to make assessment for students less stressful?

And last, cool post, I really liked it.

  3. Nice post Rocío, I enjoyed it. I'm agree with you about doing a shift from the traditional way of teaching and use the new ones, but I would like to know, what do you think is needed to make that change?

  4. Nice post, Rocio. I like how this picture illustrates in a very organized and clear way the two concepts.

Ii was interesting to see that for many of us, the word 'assessment' was considered as just a synonym for 'evaluation'. It's very important to have in mind the concepts of Traditional Assessment and Alternative Assessment, so that we can think about which one we are applying with our students, or even if we are assessing at all. I think that 'Alternative Assessing' is an essential concept we have to keep in mind because it’s a way to see assessment as a method of motivating and fostering learning.
